    For a first timer, I would allow 1-2 hours since you will be going slow and doing things careful. IF the 12-15 is like the 5-11, then this is what to watch out for (I'm sure others with a 12-15 will correct me if different...)
    • the bolt on the fender side is the biggest PITA, you will want something short and ratcheting (no pun) to get it, also there are two bolts right in that same area, so if you are reaching in blind, you'll want to make sure you are on the right one, I would also get this one first since if you have problems you can stop without putting it all back together
    • after that, it's all just removing the grill and other bolts, then CAREFULLY removing the HL as it takes some gymnastics moves on the HL to get it out, also put some rags around the HL opening so you don't scratch anything up while you are moving and cussing the HL to get it out
    • try and remember how it came out, as that will be the way to get the new one in
    • lastly, the fender bolt will be as much fun getting started blindly as you might think
    • you can get to the fender bolt easier by going in through the wheel side, but may require you to remove your wheel, then unclip the fender liner, up to you to figure out what's easiest

    Many folks leave the "fender side bolt" out when re-installing. I put 'em in, but there are (literally) thousands of Tacoma's on the road without that bolt.
