    Shiiiiiit! We just had a vote a few months back to get the county wet, our city is, but only in a few allowed spots. Same rules in the county apply, got that shut down ASAP!
    It should've been on a general election ballot, not a special vote IMO. Now we can't vote for/against for another 3 years. I hate driving into town just to get beer, I should be able to go to my local (.5 mile away) Speedway where I can buy cigs and get beer too!
    If Mary J gets legalized, it will have to be done federally. Damn commonwealth state lol

    Yeah, Alvin still is semi dry. we just started selling wine and malt liquor in stores 5 years ago. Started allowing liquor in bars maybe 10 years ago and still have to drive to the county line for a liquor store. I think we started selling beer in stores about 20 years ago. not sure when we started allowing ice houses
