    Use an app like Fuelly to track your mileage. Nothing is more accurate than miles travelled/gas consumed. My tires are dead-on for the dash, and the onboard computer still gets it wrong.

    Local police put up a radar speed sign That's supposedly accurate to with-in 1/10th of 1 mph. Digital read out post's speed. In a location where we can go up to 55 mph.

    I'm at 55 when speedo reads 53.
