    First, Hello all
My first post here at Tac World and wanted to say that i'm very impressed with the website. I have owned my Tacoma since new and now am planning on a few minor mods and thought I'd better check with the pro's first.
My first post question is would a 2008 glass cap fit my 2004? I can get
one heck of a deal on a cap that is painted the same as my truck and I really would love for this to fit correctly. I figure I would ask first before taking the long drive over to try fitment.

    Thanks for any help,
    Jon

You could ask them to measure length and width and height, you might be able to make it fit. I have a shell on mine that I bought for $50, it's the right general length and width but is shorter than my bed/top of cab but I bought some lengths of wood the right height and bolted them onto the shell and everything works just fine now, and it actually looks OK.

no it wont fit. also a cap for a standard cab wont fit an xcab or double cab.how far from jersey are you.there are some nice deals here for caps that will fit.
this is my old cap that the kid is selling.i only sold it to him for $200 a few years back so im sure the price isnt firm
