Hello Frank, The Ford shell will not fit the Tacoma Stepside. A.R.E. is the only manufacture that I know of that makes a shell specifically for the Stepside.

 

where are you located and how much are you asking?

 

I'm looking for a camper shell (any height) that will fit my 2007 DCSB Tacoma. Preferably silver but willing to consider other colors if the price is right. I am located in the Portland, OR metro area and am willing to drive a reasonable distance should something become available.

 

Okay, here's my last hope before I place an order for a brand new camper on Friday. Anybody have a topper for a 2nd gen DCLB? Any color. I need the side windows and front window to slide. Gavin&Birdie has a nice one but the windows don't slide and he's an 18-hr drive away. I've been scouring Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for 5 months and haven't found one. I called every major dealer in TX, too, and they all laughed at me and told me the used Tacoma toppers go within a day.

 

Looking for a black camper for a long bed 3rd gen Tacoma. SoCal based

 

1st gen long bed canopy for sale. Only comes with rack and basket. Located in eagle creek Oregon, can not transport.

 

I'll be selling my ARE Z (power rear lock, flip down/sliding front window, roof rails, pop out vented windows w/ screens, and automatic interior light) in super white for 2016 long bed because I'll be changing over to a camper setup. Like new condition inside and out, located in Denver $1800.

I'm also selling a cargoglide 1000 (same 2016 long bed), also in like new condition. $700

 

I'd like to find a Silver Sky Metallic fiberglass topper to fit my 2019 Access cab. Preferably located relatively close to Eastern North Carolina.

 

ISO first gen access cab shell in silver.

Located in SoCal.

 

Can these caps be professionally repainted or is it too expensive?

 

I had mine done for $200. Ay a body shop.

 

I called around a few months back and it was in the range of 500 to 700.

 

Mind messaging me that body shop? I live in Langhorne and have a silver cap that needs to be painted white.

 

Scored this Leer shell off of CL for $500 not sure of the model tho. Drove 6 hours round trip, but beats the $2500+ I was quoted.

 

Reports of pricing vary wildly as seen here. There are some body shops that do shoddy work, so do your homework before you commit. I got a buddy that owns a body shop, and he told me the hook up price is $350.

Talked to a few other peeps in my area that have paid around $400 - $500.

Personally I have been looking for that magic deal since February. Every day, multiple times. Only found a few that would have worked. I either offered too low and someone else bought it, or was too slow and someone else bought it.

ISO: Third Gen DCSB shell in cement within 4 hrs drive of Northern NJ. I'd also consider one in black or MGM. Cash in hand.

 

WTB: 2nd gen DCSB shell in Silver Sky Metallic. The closer you are to Milwaukee/Chicagoland the better, will make a long drive for the right one.

Scored a Leer 100XL in red for 2nd gen DCSB. If you have something similar in Silver Sky Metallic and want to trade PM me otherwise I'm just gonna paint mine eventually. Cheers.

 

WTB a 3rd gen shell for a long bed, ideally in magnetic grey color, w/o 100 miles from Philadelphia, PA.

 

I’m hunting for a radiant red shell for a first gen short bed. I have one in lunar mist or a radiant red tenneau cover for trade if it helps.
