    I did some backpacking in idylwild a couple weeks ago. Hiked and camped out at tahquitz peak. We just made a fire pit and burned branches of dead fallen trees around us. Probably not supposed to camp where we did but my buddy came down with altitude sickness and was in no shape to try and hike down until the morning. All in all it one of my favorite times camping.

    I'll be there Friday at bee canyon and I got a pot luck for Saturday.

    I do have a whole bunch of fire wood at home. Curious if when I get to bee canyon I could distribute it to a few other trucks. It is the only thing that I'll probably lose on the trail having no real bed in the truck and suspension not really designed to off road with much weight.
