    Taken from the "Mods" section:
    Parts needed:
    • Breather Plug (part #90930-03136)
    • Union fitting (part #90404-51319)
    • Around 6ft of house (fuel line works well, I got some white plastic hose from a home improvement store very cheap)
    • 2 hose clamps
    • zip ties
The breather and union can be ordered from any dealership's parts department, and will cost <$6 IIRC.

    Jackson's Rear Diff Breather

Good video explaining why this should be done:
    Diff Breathers for 4x4

If I remember correctly, you don't want to reuse the one that comes out of the diff. as it is a one-way vent whereas the replacement part allows air to vent and get back in.

Ordered the union and breather for myself and @YotaGurlIAm last night. No more water crossing worries  (except for the whole being 2wd thing)
Thanks @madsand @Dangerousd1987 and @goblue82 for putting the fire under my butt to get this stuff ordered, not having to search for part numbers was nice haha

The car crash was a Thanksgiving or two ago, nothing major, just an angry oriental who spoke broken english. At least it was 100 percent his fault
Also he never made an insurance claim, the car was already beat to hell

Pismo is fun! I haven't been there in years. There's a "river" that forms and separates two parts of the beach, but I haven't driven there when it's flowing

Indeed. I'll be camping on the beach up there in August while I'm up north for a wedding. Gonna camp at Big Sur as well. Never been to either and I'm stoked to check them out. I hear Big Sur is the most beautiful place in California.

Spectacular! Can't wait to cross the Bixby bridge and get in some hiking. I hope to have a rtt by August but no guarantee. I've actually been looking into Riverside Campgrounds. Great minds, brother. Great minds.

Huzzah! Now that I'm unemployed I've found the time to sit around, day drink beer on the couch, watch re-runs of 90's sitcoms, and create a build page. Check it out down there in my signature. It's not grand but it's something. 1st, 5th, and 9th person to comment on it gets a Tacoma World sticker. Ok, I can't do that but I'll be your friend. Cool? haha :der:
