    G'day all,

I'm in Indiana but I head out to Cape Cod for a month or so each summer. Looking to do some kayak and surf fishing - any tips?

Keen to get my oversand permit this year too!

    Cheers,
    Mitch

Last time i stopped there was coming back on a motorcycle trip from nova scotia. Stopped off to visit fiends in west dennis, and went on a charter boat for a fishing trip. Caught a bunch of fish mainly flounder, cod and sand sharks. All in all a fun day.

    Hey Mitch,

Whether you are on the south side of the cape, or in the bay, getting out early and working the coast line looking for birds or bait will be your best bet. There should be plenty of striped bass and bluefish to be caught throwing plastic or metal. The end of August you'll see the bonito and false albacore in the mornings. If you go into any of the local bait shops, you should be able to gather some intel / reports.
