This was one of the wilder ideas. Basically 48" 12x16 rail top boxes on each side framed in angle iron with tube spanning between them to mount the RTT to. It would keep most of the bed open for anything I needed bed space for, IE mutts or gear. I've pretty much abandoned the idea because it puts so much weight up high. abamu6a8_3ba28c2f0d1dcbc52af01c7b082529e75d734e7a.jpg. Sorry I don't know how to operate sketchup so you get my redneck version. The red marker is angle iron and tubing

Ehhh right now I'm thinking a pretty normal low pro rack, tool chest and 2 Scepter cans in the bed, and a new idea for a homemade drawer that should be more weather resistant and weigh a lot less

    That's WAY too simple.

The PackRat drawer got traded away last night so it's gone. I started sorting and organizing my tools. I found 9 adjustable wrenches! NINE!!! SO I'm going to start working on culling that stuff down to what I actually need.

I've gotta sell the case of frangible .40 ammo I traded for and my other boxes so I can get started on the the bed rebuild.

    RTT shipped today. :D

Not the most glamorous of additions but needed. You've got to work on a mid skid design

Tomorrow is the big day. Going to SOS for a new HC rear bumper w/ swing out and the bed rack. Y'all will see the crazyness we come up with.

Got a he fender flares off tonight. Gonna try to get them sprayed black along with the tool boxes

I've got 4 of these in the shed. Should I clean them up and spray them black, then mount my 255/85s on them? I don't know if it would be easier to paint them before or after I have the tires taken off.

I say before, and I'd do a powdercoat on them, should hold up nice, just don't put any texture on them, you'll hate yourself because they will never come clean if you do
