The old girl has been neglected. But she's starting to get some love again.

 

Something new and blue. Hopefully this will be a game changer for ride quality

 

Spent a little time in Eddy's shop this weekend. We pulled my Allpro expo leaf pack out and swapped it for a set of Chevy 63s. Also pulled my rear Bilstien shocks and replaced them with 2.5" 14" travel remote resivior Kings.



This is how it looked with my OME 886s up front and the 63s in the back.


But we weren't done yet.

Gusseted the coil buckets up front. Then installed these:

They did add an inch of down travel as advertised. OME on the drivers side, King on the passenger


I need to adjust the preload on the kings, the front is sitting back at factory ride height right now. Controll arms are flat. But it does prove you can clear 37s with no lift. I ordered a cheap spring compressor this weekend. When it comes in @ahspurlock and I will get them adjusted:

A thing happened today.

30x50 with two 4'x4' foot think piers for a 2 post lift. Phase one of my shop build. Hopefully the building itself will be installed in a few weeks.

Once this is paid off I'm going to add a 40x40 addition to the end


And of course Deacon photobombed me...and the yard.

Probably should post an update sometime. Shop is up and the truck is in there getting an overhaul.

 

Haven't updated this in a long time, guess its time for a photo dump. I just replaced my phone under warranty and lost a bunch of pictures, so this will have to do:

 

So the shop is up and semi functional. As soon as i got power to it Black N Tan was pulled in for a major overhaul. Crawlbox install and a lot of rewiring mainly. Oh and these sweet dual beadlock recentered HMMWV wheels I just painted and installed. It's almost ready for it's first shake down run at The Flatts and then Windrock.

You'll also catch a glimps of a lot of other project pieces mixed in there.
