I was thinking about seeing this movie, just wondering if anyone else saw it and if it was any good or not?

I saw it last night... I won't say it was bad but it wasn't nearly as good as Thor, the Ironmans, etc. At least IMO... My friend loved it.

I'm not really a big comic movie fan. I thought this one might have potential.

I was watching some of the old Caption America's yesterday on the Syfy ch. Man those movies sucked and were so damn cheesy. Two of them were from 1979 and another one was from the early 90's.
So I'm sure anything would be a lot better than the crap I watched yesterday.

Taking the wife to the matinee today to see it. I think it is in 3d which gives me a headache but it's too hot to do anything today. When we get back I'll throw my 2 cents worth in.

I saw an early screening of it. I dont know much about Cap, but it was a fun movie. I thought Chris Evans and Hugo Weaving did an awesome job. Its got some really funny jokes in it. Tommy Lee Jones is basically playing characters your familiar with....think the fugitive. Good entertaining flick. the early screening didnt have trailers, but I heard there is a trailer for the Avengers at the end, so staying through the credits maybe worth it.

I saw the 3d. It was cool, but like any other 3d movie, you get used to seeing it in 3d and quickly forget that it is 3d you are seeing. I dont know if thats good or bad, but it didnt phase me at all.

Yeah I'm in ATL and it's hot as shit here too, nothing really interesting this summer at the theatres, we might see it later. I kinda wanna see Cowboys and Aliens too.

Didnt see thor, not a big fan of Iron man either. I dont know this one appealed to me, maybe the WW2 theme.

I just saw it last night and thought that it was entertaining, but Red Skull (aka Hugo Weaving) really didn't prove to be a huge adversary as I thought he was; still not a bad movie but it did need a little more action. The 3D wasn't all impressive either, but the cast fit.

I thought X-men first class was pretty good... Thor was the worse of all Marvel produced comic movies.

    how does Captain America compare?

    btw, Green Lantern = crap

Captain America wasn't good at all. The first 30 or so minutes were very interesting, but once he "becomes" captain america, there is little or no struggle. The villain is not intimidating or even remotely threatening, and captain americas powers are basically so limitless that there is no point to the action sequences at all. None of the characters had any personality traits, besides Tommy Lee Jones, who played the same character he plays in every movie, so I wouldn't give that one successful character design to the writers as much as I would give it to Tommy Lee Jones just being Tommy Lee Jones.

Saw it last night, I thought it was pretty cool. I also watched the ones that were on scyfi, yea there cheesy as hell. But there pretty cool for its time. Any one remember the punisher with doulph laundrin, that movie was cool. And the trailer for the new marvel movie was pretty cool. Looking forward too it.
