Now you just need to be rear ended so you can get rear plate bumper too.....:D

Kidding, hate to see your new truck damaged so soon.

I'd say you're far from safe since you work in a hospital, what with all the diseases, deaths and drugs. It's basically a Home Depot but with dying sick people.

I mean, yeah, your right lol. You should see our parking garage. It's so bad, so dangerous. I've seen many accidents, primarily fender benders, since I started working here 2 years ago. There is a Tacoma with an ARB front a rear bumper that parks in the garage. You can tell the way the guy parks that its "park next to me at your own risk."

Yeah, it sucks, but accidents happen, millions and millions a year in the U.S. It sucks, but it was just a fender bender, so at least there is nothing wrong with the integrity of the truck.

That's perfect that it's paid for. Get the check from the insurance and then have the body shop tear it down and make sure they don't need any supplemental $$. You should make out like a bandit on this one. It's much easier when there's no bank involved.

True, at least no one was hurt either. Metal and plastic can be replaced, people not.

Yup. I went from a 3,000 to ~4,000$ invoice because I wasn't going to let them keep parts that have moved. And in all reality, I could replace the hood, and get the scooped hood. But it looks fine, we will find out.

I had an ARB on my 1993 and on my 2013.

I walked away from a head on collision at approximately 25 to 30 mph in my 2013 with only a sore shoulder from the seat belt. The truck ended up totaled because the frame bent like a diamond but it really held up amazingly.

Looking at your bumper cover you could use the old one to act as your filler piece for the ARB. I purchase a cheap plastic cover when I did mind which allowed me to sell my OEM bumper post-total.

On my 1993 I ended up getting stuck quite badly in sand and had to be yanked out via the humor and it worked perfectly.

So now you have a 16 (that 2013 was badass BTW), are you going to get another metal bumper?

And are you saying that I should keep the original bumper that has popped out of placement from pressure, and use that to fit in the bumper?

I was thinking of getting a bumper that has less demands of cutting into the truck, but the ARB is top notch. I don't care about the weight.

It CAN be paid for. Yep, pretty much deciding to do it. I plan on keeping my truck a long, long time.

you say that but you have to consider what that weight will do.
Not just to MPG but ride and look.
Might cause your front to sag a bit more. If you plan on doing suspension as well then no problem just get better springs but if not...might want to consnder a different option that isn't as heavy.

I'm not seeing 4K either. Not even close I'm thinking

Perhaps it is just the pics though

Well, I have no issues getting more beefier front end suspensions shocks and coils.

The only issue with different options: build time. I can't wait months for a bumper. ARB is in stock ready to ship.

I can show you the quote tomorrow when I get out of work. It's the paint and labor that is adding up to 4k. Also, they are replacing the paint protection film and TRD pro skid that got damaged. That was all installed when I bought the truck. And they MAY have to replace the front right fender and hood, which will be determined when the front end is ripped out. The pics are crappy, but I wanted to provide y'all with some pictures to help describe my situation. It doesn't look as bad as it is, pop the hood, and it does not look good.

Well then the pics don't do it justice. I was thinking around $2500 max with everything
