What's so bizarre about it? A certain group of people are trying to kill us. If offending this group is racist then so be it.

 

Who cares if we offend the pieces of shit? There are good "rednecks" and then there's "trailer trash" rednecks. Someone calls me a redneck, meaning to insult me, I don't care/take it as a compliment. If they wanna get offended, they can suck it. They tried to blow up a car in the middle of a crowded city. Who cares what they think about what I/we call them?

Well according to a video tape that shows the guy who parked the car he was a white man in his 40s.

 

Maybe not everyone from Pakistan looks the same. Or maybe the little needle dick was part of the Pakistani Taliban, which, in my book, makes him Pakistani.

 

Or, maybe it was some white nutjob looking for his 15 minutes...

 

Either way, nobody is certain yet. Still could be a terrorist. Could be a Pakistani who is not related to a terrorist organization. I'm not going to make assumptions until the investigation is over.

Here's how I view this whole NY Times Square bomb incident.

Any bomb or device intended to hurt, injure, wound or maim a person that is placed on American soil can and should be viewed as an act of terrorism, whether it be a domestic terrorist or foreign. There's no such thing as a joke when it comes to this sort of thing.

In the event that it was placed by a foreign terrorist, then the line has been crossed and some sort of calculated retaliation must be enacted. But people can't just go out and automatically assume that this person was of Middle Eastern descent (we all make that assumption, likely because we aren't nearly as familiar with American terrorists). Video footage shows a white man.

That leaves things way open for interpretation. This white man may be an angry American citizen, demonstrating his right to protest in a very radical and across the line manner. Or we could be entirely wrong. Maybe he is affiliated with some terrorist organization over seas. Who knows?

Regardless, this is an entirely messed up situation. It shows just how easily a well trained terrorist (foreign or domestic) could wreak havoc on American soil. We're vulnerable.

How about we just say that whoever is behind this ordeal should be dealt with in an appropriate manner. Whether or not they are Pakistani, Russian, Israeli, Iraqi, Black, White, Mexican, Jew does not matter. The real issue at hand is how we deal with this "incident" and what we do once we have found said individual(s). Unfortunately a lot of these attacks are related to religious fanatics and killing them, in their eyes, is an honorable way for them to join their savior (whoever that may be). The irony of the whole thing is, all of the preaching is usually done by the few who themselves avoid martyrdom, war, death, poverty and the likes, yet take advantage of all the funding whilst all of their naive followers kill other people and themselves for some political/governmental/religious agenda. This has been repeated over and over throughout history and there is nothing we can do except prepare for the inevitable and react accordingly. Because what better stage than the good ole' US of A to carry out your agenda. Sorry for the rant, I had 3 too many beers......7 beers ago.
