    5 gallons of Gas is 32lbs. 5 gallons of water is 44lbs. So if you had two in each hand that's a difference of 48 lbs. Another can and a half of Gas. That's no small weight difference.



    No I totally meant that gas is lighter than water. Additionally they designed it like that so that in darkness you won't confuse water tanks for gas tanks and vice versa.

    I'm not going to say you're wrong, I'm just going off the information that has been given to me by the manufacturer.

    And my apologies. I'm not an 19 Y/O marine. I'm a 30 Y/O EMT who reoutinely lifts 300+lb patients on a 70lb stretcher with a 30 Lb jump kit and a 40 Lb Life Pack 15. And I have a bad back like everyone in EMS. If we're going to get into a lifting pissing match.

    i used to work on an airplane to load both jp-8 and water.... for which i had to know the calculations. should have known!
