This is what I use. I have multiple sizes for different gear, etc.

I buy them at REI if anything ever goes wrong with them.

Also, I bought adhesive weather stripping and added it to the underside of the lid (there's a groove there specifically for it) and it made it completely water tight.

Tested it out by dousing it with a hose at every which angle... not a single drop made it into the storage area of the bin.

 

That's a good tip! I don't really worry about it as mine are under a canopy, but it would be a good idea to help keep dust out too.

 

The SWR it's the most important part of a CB system(if you can get it to 1.1 that it's good) but you can take that 4 watts CB radio to a CB shop and for $25 boost it up to around 30 watts.

Fuel was a problem. Depending one the road and speed , but the truck eats a loot of fuel. I had to use the extra cans two times. In the remote areas it's hard to find fuel. At one point I got 11.5 MPG.

 

I been good, enjoying life. I got some pictures in the profile with the RTT. We should hit Moab this year!

 

Well ill have my trailer done by then and I'm gonna need to put it to use so i can't say no
(still not done but getting there)

 

Picked up a WeatherGuard PackRat used to do my bed storage with. Might try to lighten it up a bit. But it'll work for now.

 

There are a few of those pack rats for sale here, can't decide if it will meet my needs or not, are the long dividers removable?

 

The long ones don't seem to be. Only the small dividers can easily be removed. But I'm sure the long ones can be removed via a grinder. I just wish the whole unit was lighter. but I'll see what I can do. There's still plenty of space in the bed for other organization to happen.

 

I have been planning my drawer system for a while, a few more things ahead of it on the list, think I'll just wait and build what I really want

 

Decked has a cool looking system, but nothing for ours yet. Didn't want to spend a few $k on bigger system. So for now this will have to do. Was going to build my own too, but go lazy. lol
