Not trying to stir the pot anymore. But I could care less what anyone thought about the definition of "overlanding" or "expo".

I'm far from upset little derp.
Here's my opinion...preaching a your "opinion" (which is really just a fallacy) on a public forum, does give offroading a bad name. Saying someone does or does not have an expo vehicle based on how many days they are willing to sleep in their truck has zero impact to the capability of the vehicle. And for those that are new and trying to get into the sport and building their truck with a specific purpose in mind, it's belittling. Clearly you're a new member, so feel free to take your offensive opinion back to expedition portal or TTORA or wherever you came from.

Haha, and then it's as if everything they thought was true in the world suddenly came to a screeching halt, right before their eyes. Just because one guy on the internet said so.

All this time I thought expo was a leaf spring option that you could buy from All-Pro. Learn something new everyday......:D

Wow, ok, name calling and my opinion is wrong. Nice.

You shouldn't make facts out of opinions.

"Saying someone does or does not have an expo vehicle based on how many days they are willing to sleep in their truck has zero impact to the capability of the vehicle"

Well technically one could argue that if you weren't willing to sleep in your vehicle for more than a night or two but were planning an expedition across africa, this could indeed limit the capability of your vehicle. Figuratively speaking. Not to be confused of course with offroad capability.

So I think I got ya there ;)

It was just the way your post came across. It was viewed by pretty much everyone here as you saying "All your rigs suck, and I am the only true expo rig here" Maybe not quite that harsh though.

I know that isn't the way your meant to come across, but that is the way it appeared to come across.

Hmm, I can see how some people might think that. But if you read the thread you'll see that I don't consider my own truck to be an "expedition rig" I'd like to get there one day, but right now I just don't have enough time to really travel the world to the extent that I'd like to.

I didn't make facts out of opinions. Seriously, re-read what I wrote. I said PREACHING your opinion.

Did you ride a short bus? Seriously...did you? Cause clearly you've got some problems with reading comprehension.
I could care less if we share the same opinion or not. But when you start belittling other people's rigs like you're some all knowing expert....yeah, I equate that to a giant fuck you. And with that....:brianr:

But yet you take the time to explain what the "rules" to "expedition" are

I think you are bitter because the mods locked one of your threads haha..
