I should be getting my compressor in a few weeks here. Then sometime this year gears and a locker. Or both idk yet :pBut seems like most people don't use their front so I'm probably going to pass on that and save some money:thumbsup:

It all depends on the trails you do. I've got the factory e-locker and use it when trail gets dangerous or technical. ATRAC works on the front and rear axles, but not on the rear when locked. I love this combination. Works really well.

If I had your truck on the trails I'm doing I'd get both, lock front and back.

I've seen your pictures of the places you go and they are awesome! And some of them is what I do with mine but also some of it are just easier trails. I wish I had ATRAC

    Thanks so much!

I know at certain times Atrac gets a lot of hate in this forum, but honestly, it's incredibly awesome. It activates in a split second when necessary, and disengages when not needed. It's elegant in its operation, and none of the steering binding issues with a front locker.

I think it's good up to moderate difficulty, beyond that front locker.

It's a tough call. I'd still say if atrac not an option, I'd go for the locker... But the $$$ lol :D

X2 I love ATrac, just enough when you need it and goes away when you don't.

    Appreciate your knowledgeable response.

I find the snakes too and leave them the F alone.

I've taught my kids to watch for them and what to do regarding them.

Here is a report of a kid bitten by Mojave Green few years back:
    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/mojave-...-california-boy-42-vials-of-antivenom-needed/

REI, I've got six bucks, so maybe a matter bottle. Don't really shop there too much anymore since we're fully outfitted.

Attract is not an option I don't think!? 2007 sport. Didn't they only come in the offroads?? So with that it's front locker or leave it open... You guys are making it a hard choice here. Got lots of people saying don't do it and a few saying I should...:annoyed:

No not an option, off-road 4x4 trucks starting in 2009. You'd have to trade up.

Yeah not an easy decision all depends on the trails you wanted to do, you could skip front locker and always add it later.

I don't care how educated you are. Sharing a foxhole with a rattlesnake only ends one way. Sure, you can politely move them, but you know how territorial those bastards in the Mojave are. The chick that stepped on the snake stepped outside the tent to take a call, that was a dumb move, but if someone would have skinned the damn thing the day before it wouldn't have happened. Rattlesnake Dave is legit, you can look him up. My dad is friends with him.
