    Nice!

    Reminds me of this

...While I was searching for mounting ideas, I came across this impressive custom ceiling mount for Tacoma 2nd gen.

I think the owner said he paid ~$400 for custom made by Foothill Communication in Pasadena, CA

All bolt on used with unistrut. Mainly followed @ERMB and @12thmanhawkfan designs. It'll work until I replace the tonneau for a full rack

I thought it was a cool idea. But when I'm driving, I realized something like that would be right at my head level so I'm not sure I'd get something like that.
But, with 3-4 radios, you're definitely EAF.

Thankfully I'm short. I just post on the hilux forums for a photo of their stock overhead console to give me an idea of what I'm working with before I commit....

Managed to sneak in a night on Mt Hood after failing to leave for Wallowa-Whitman National Forest on Wednesday for a 5 day trip. First time having to use my makeshift awning in a decent rain storm, a few adjustments and it should be fine!

Liking that awning - Is it just a tarp with legs and a tie down?
