That's pretty cool. Sounds like its time to move up chain, and start directing others.

No room there to do it. My commute is 65 miles 1 way so if I'm going to change it will be closer to home

What's everyone doing to secure there fiberglass toppers? I'm currently using clamps and the rear of the cap starts to walk outward from all the offroad driving I do and I'm starting to see small cracks in the gel coat. This was an issue with my previous cap and now my Wildernest. Is bolting it down with 8 bolts a bad idea? I guess is it better to let it flex independently from the bed or with the bed?

My ARE has tabs that go into the bed rails, and it bolts on to those with a clamp.

Let some friends borrow the trailer for a trip and they said it has changed their mind about the RTT.

If you bolt a shell on instead of using clamps can you save on your annual rego in California still? Something about a less expensive commercial vehicle status or similar.

Nah it is a Dodge. Only thing that I have found is the mpg' s. It goes really well on and Offroad. I spent the majority of the build time ensuring that everything was straight and true and that the springs are aligned properly.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to bolt it and add a track similar to the what the 2nd gens have on the bed rails.

I was thinking about reclassing using the RTT as the means but unsure if it meets the classification definition under vehicle for human habitation. Would save an estimated $60 bucks each year.

Good the little camper we pick up today is supposed to be able to handle some off road. 12" ground clearance and torsion suspension I guess we'll see. Mostly fire roas I'd guess for now

Nice. Most of the cost besides the RTT was the Max-Coupler hitch. Thing is nice though and pivots in every way possible so we can drag it anywhere. The torsion suspension should be good, just watch out and make sure to inspect the bars periodically for stress cracks. How old is the trailer?

It's a brand new leftoer 2016 so get full warranty also. I didnt spring for the iff road package but the only difference is it comes with an ARB awning, roadshowr, AT tires (which I don't undersyand yet as there is no drive with the trailer perhaps you can enlighten me), and a powder coated rock guard. I have an awning coming today. I'll order a shower later, I can make the rock guard, and can upgrade the tires if needed. I really don't understand the bennifit of the AT tires on a trailer, I'm sure there are some and am deffinately open to being educated

    Check The Build Thread
Looks? Ability to use on vehicle? :notsure:

I put matching wheels, tires, TPMS, everything on my little trailer. I did it for interchangeability and so when it's time for new tires on the truck, I buy one new tire to have mounted and rotate both trailer tires and spare onto the truck. Take the best 3 "used" tires and move to spare tire and trailer.

If you're getting the trailer I think I saw you mention elsewhere, that's a cool little trailer! I looked at their RTT style one but didn't care for the layout.
