This dude was definitely finding his own adventures last time I was out there, he was probably in outer space in a different universe. Later on that evening him and his wife were walking around with a doubled up grocery bag full of shrooms just giving them away to anyone who wanted some that they had picked from Oregon the week before.

Me and my buddy strapped a 75 Chevy truck hood to the top of his 93 Tercel so we could take it out to the shop and make a power sled out of it. Looked pretty similar. We went fast over some steep hills to try and get it off the ground. Didn’t work :plane:

All day long.. at first when I saw him in the morning when walking over to the sink no big deal because thats just normal. But after seeing him going up and down, doing figure 8's and circles and listening to him roar out parts of the Bohemian Rhapsody it was time to bust out the camera. Freaking enjoying life, how can anyone judge that?

Guys with caps, and RTT's I need some help....

I had this gap before, added the total chaos bed stiffeners, and just recently noticed this. It appears the whole passenger rear fender is beginning to crush....Im thinking I am going to need either a lighter setup (even though I believe the flip pac is much heavier) or I am going to need to make an internal frame for the cap.

In this pic it does look like the fender is beginning to pull away.

I've had fiberglass Leer caps and racks on 4 different Toyotas (with no bed stiffeners). I don't think it's your cap. It's a pretty rigid thing. It doesn't really generate any outward, 'thrust' load... should be pushing straight down on the bed rails (otherwise the cap would be cracking at the top and all the caps you see sitting along the road on sawhorses beside the barn, covered with leaves would be squashed out like flattened beer cans)... something else going on here I think.

    • Take the cap off
    • Loosen up all the bed and fender bolts you can get too
    • Get a ratchet strap, level, mallet, pry bar, wedges, heat gun, etc.
    • Get that thing straightened out and plumbed up all around
    • Put the cap back on
    • Check it in a few weeks
