I felt pretty tough. All this is being facetious if you haven't figured it out yet.

I felt tough going out to pee this weekend at -5. Then I felt less tough because I drank a lot of beer and had to pee a lot and things started to get pretty cold.

Have nothing better to do, sorry. Could read some more of "Martin Chuzzlewit" but that started getting old.

I imagine so. Trying to get everything done as quickly as possible at -5 does not sound fun to me. I'd probably smell like piss all night.

What's wrong with that for wearing shorts? I bet plenty of people wear shorts year round there.

Above 65* sure but the humidity here makes it colder in contrast to the dry climate where you are at.

I wore shorts in cold weather when I lived in AZ and CO both. This crap down here is a different animal all together to me.

Humid winters are not fun, IMO. I'll stick to dry.

Totally agree. I’ll take dry skin and getting shocked by every piece of metal I’m near over a wet cold winter.

I live in East Texas and guide hunts, as well as give helicopter hog hunts on occasion. I have people come down from up north, and when the wind is 15 to 25 knots and its 35 to 45 degrees out they always tell me this is the coldest they have ever been in their life. I have some guys from Iowa showing up tomorrow evening, gonna take em out let em use the thermal scope tomorrow night, I promise they will be bundled up. I used to fly in colorado and in arizona. I can remember going to work in Colorado in a fleece with the sun shining and the air temperature was -14 out. Completely comfortable.
