Hi guys. Yes it is mounted to my OEM rack at the moment. It's sitting on there pretty well. The problem with it is that the roof rails are too thick for my particular tents mounting system. It's being held on by 3 ratchet straps.

I'm building a bed rack to go over my bestop for it this weekend so it'll do for now. It supports the weight well though

Your local auto parts store will have the extra long tie downs pulldowns hooks whatever you'd like to call them. They run about $3. In order to use them you need to take your factory one cut it off and then drill a hole through where the old one was. I'm a single 31 in mind stock battery location also. Last me for a about 2 days then I decided I wanted the second one in the same area

yea i have used high pressure alc stoves for years. They are great cause they always work despite elevation unlike propane.

also..im am grateful for my unlimited data plan..

At what altitude does the standard Coleman 2-burner stove quit working?

Stop? not sure..highest i have used mine is 11-12k..but it is harder to start..

that said..not harder to start then the PITA of a white alc high pressure stove..

but propane also takes longer to heat up stuff at high altitudes as well. just become less efficient.

That stove is awesome - much simpler than any of the other can stoves I've seen. Plus you can set your pot right on top of it, which you can't do with a Trangia. Definitely going to make one or two. Thanks!

Did it in the living room this evening! Wife was like what in the hell are you doing? Boiled a pot of water on it and screwed myself because now she says I don't need the MSR stove I wanted: epic fail on my part!

Negative, alcohol stoves are worthless below 40. Used one for most of my 1400 miles on the Appalachian Trail.
