Jake I have 3 25mm ammo cans that I got when I was on the boat, you can have one of them if you want I only us two of them. You can grab it next time you are up here. I'll trade you for labor on making a skid and cab mount chop

Do you have any pictures of how you store your saw? I like to solve problems fast. being able to take it out of the box, or area I have it stored and start her up is a huge pro for me. Not apposed to breaking it down. Gives me a reason to lube and clean the chain. However, if it is a sharp chain already, running the risk of dulling it or getting cut up is not something I like to think about.

On another note. Went wheeling today, muddy as can be. GOT STUCK. Was in an area I was not really aloud to be. So no pics. People that were all together with me in convoy, all got stuck at the same time I did. There was a nice grade and a tree that we all started sliding into, I missed it by a centemeter at most. We eventually daisy chained each other together with winches and static line. No damage and we even went back with 2 bed fulls of gravel to repair the tracks we left. I was relieved that everyone was responsible enough not to punch it or start ripping up the place. I like to tread lightly.

You are the man! I can see the length saving a little room, but not much. Do you store them all seperately? Like a specific chain box, bar carrier and a container for the engine?

Lol yeah...I have just one gsd. He has never ridden in my 2014, but it has his hair all up in it. One day he will be inside...

My 06 on the other hand. We've spend thousands of hours in it, and I could probably have built another shepherd with the hair he's left in it over the years. But I love him so it's aight.

What great Christmas gifts, and they will last you for many, many years!

Cast Iron skillet of course and that will usually handle breakfast, most everything eaten at breakfast can be cooked in that. Heavy duty thick stainless steel peculator for coffee. With glass ball on top (not plastic that wil melt) and a spare wrapped in bubble wrap in with the rest of the kitchen kit. Large stock pot. Potable water is precious and I will dip water out of a lake or stream to boil on the metal grate to use for washing dishes and myself. When the main course is not being cooked on the grate.

Have had a lot of camping cooking gear picked up over time and I usually carry 3 pots which are old and very heavy duty with handle bails that can be used over an open fire if need be. They are used for vegetables, pasta, sauces, and soups the smallest is used for dipping water out of the large stock pot for cleaning.

As your culinary skills in the woods increase and you spend longer times in the wild variation in meals becomes more important IME. And I have always found it a good idea to level set everyone with you by saying that the first SOB that bitches about my cooking gets to cook next time. Nobody has complained or died from my cooking yet :D

Caught about 3/4's this AM. Had to goto work. Looks like fun though. Got to the point where the Taco got stuck on the edge of the big river.

Hey on another note, anybody know of a Snorkel for 2014 Tacoma V6?
And a good way to mount the Fiamma f35 Pro to a roof rack?
Anybody drill straight thru carrier and rack and bolt em up?

You've got brass balls, I could drill through or cut my fender. I'd buy glass ones just to keep from cutting mine

To my knowledge, the Safari Snorkel fits all the 2nd gen tacomas. has something changed that we are unaware of on the 2014?
