I watched this yesterday. While I do think the truck (he calls it car way to many times) is in good shape, it is not "like new" in my eyes. I am impressed that he has been able to avoid dings over that many years. I think I recieved 2 nasty door dings in the first couple years.

PDR. If people really care about it they can get pointless dent repair. I know some dealerships will even pay for it on used cars.

Definitely, some of the PDR techs are like magicians. I imagine that truck had some work done. It is often part of the reconditioning process dealerships do. I know a guy that used to be the PDR guy for Ford locally.
The PDR I've had done in the past has not been perfect, left a lot to be desired. I also have at least one ding that I was told can't be repaired with PDR.

I watched that as well, and that thing is not that clean, it’s YouTube clean. And where are the rear fender flares.

    PDR is truly an art
Experienced guys travel around US following hail storms
And the tools they use……WAY expensive and Patented (no Chinese replicas on Amazon kinda thing)
Toughest panel to work, is the car’s sail panel. Strip of metal between roof panel and door windows(encapsulated)
As long as headliner and curtain airbags removed, with the use of those expensive (up to 3ft long) tools, the PDR guy can massage the dent straight

    major patience needed

If you want to be technical, it's not a truck, but a pickup truck.

You're right, technically speaking, calling it a truck is just as inaccurate as calling it a car. OK buddy. Pretty sure truck includes "pickup" truck.

I'll add that calling a truck (of any kind) a car could be regional. I have no idea where that youtube tech is from. In my 50 years, I have not known anyone who calls a truck (of any kind), a "car". So hearing that dude repeat it over and over was odd. I might actually use the word car if we were talking about a Ford Maverick or the like lol.
