    Here's the article from ocregister.com:

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA – A high-speed chase that began in Long Beach and cut across several county freeways this morning came to an end just before 7 a.m., when CHP officers conducted a PIT maneuver, boxing in the driver's car, authorities said.

The driver, described as a 47-year-old woman, was driving a silver Scion at speeds of more than 100 mph at some times, drove the wrong way on the 241 toll road, drove in circles in road, and could be seen waving at a news helicopter overhead, said California Highway Patrol officer Gabe Montoya.

Officers brought the chase to an end on Oso Parkway, just as the driver of the Scion appeared to be headed toward the northbound lanes, Montoya said. The driver has been taken into custody.

The chase began in Long Beach, where officers responded to a call about a domestic dispute involving the possible use of a deadly weapon – the car, said Lt. Ted Boyne of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

The driver of the car fled from officers in Long Beach, Montoya said, and in the process attempted to run over a police officer. The driver headed east on the 22 freeway and CHP officers were contacted at 6:18 a.m. to take over the chase.

“We took it over and it proceeded in a big circle through Orange County,” Montoya said.

The driver headed east on the 22, north on the 55, then east on the 91, Montoya said. The driver maintained a speed between 90 and 100 mph.

As the chase neared Weir Canyon, the driver stopped in the FasTrak lanes briefly, but then continued driving again.

The pursuit then headed south on the 241 toll road, where the driver at one time turned around in the southbound lanes and headed north, Montoya said.

“(The driver) was doing doughnuts near the center divider, waving to the cameras,” he said.

The driver of the Scion exited the toll road on Oso Parkway and officers decided to perform a PIT maneuver, Montoya said, a maneuver in which the patrol car hits the rear side of the vehicle and cause the car to spin out. Officers then boxed the car in.

The cops should have the right to shoot and kill on a driver like that. So she doesnt hits some innocent family headon while going to wrong way. How ever that was funny as SHIT, very original maneuvers

lmao. thats what i drove before the taco. lol. i don’t see ow in the hell she did all that (speed/ swerving and spinning out) once you get to about 80MPH(i was in a 75MPH sone so i was only going 5MPH over) they start riding like shit. i can 25 30MPH down dirt pot hole illed road and my truck still rides smoother! i did note that turning the track OFF it drive better. idk why but it did. i felt like it took off and stopped and went around curves better than with it on!

I had the same Scion also. You start hitting 80 MPH and the aerodynamics of the Scion are truly felt (like a brick).

    Crazy BITCH !!!
