That's a mirroring device that was a mess! I tried it. the issue I had was when I got a call my phone flipped out! I spoke to their tech guy and he said if u get a phone call it could do that and to just disconnect your phone temporarily while u are talking that sounded incredibly dumb to me and not something I wanted to do while driving plus their peie e was not touch controlled I still had to hold my phone

 

Maybe I missed it, but how did you find this unit? Posting a number to call about a head unit with no product number feels funny.

I had a bud of mine who bought one for his tundra. I flipped when he showed it to me! Figures it was reliable since I've known him for 10 years. I'm fairly curious though why are so many people skeptical on this forum? Im pretty new to it and I've gotten quite a few people thinking I'm trying to sell something I suppose I could see that. Just wondering

I don’t even care if you are Santiago himself and trying to sell it. This looks awesome I just wish I could find more information on it other than a press release....Facebook page, website, ect

 

That sucks. Makes sense no face, no body. A lot of sh@#$y people in this world. I lucked out since my friend already took the plunge I didnt even have to think about that

 

I did pay by paypal to them and I know u can get your money back if someone tried some crap like that. Just a thought

 

Lots of reasons to be skeptical but it looks like a cool stereo. Although when I googled the number http://bfy.tw/MSoR it shows it does belong to a GCH Automotive. Then I googled http://bfy.tw/MSoU and on my page 8 spots down it's owned by Greg Delgado. Are you the owner of the company or is it just a coincidence that you and the owner share a name?

It wasnt a stereo it was an add on box to my stereo

VW crowd has had something like this for a while... Indian/Chinese manufacturers making OEM drop-in units with either a unique Android ROM or software that'll do both CarPlay and Android Auto. They generally get good reviews and a few of the companies seem to roll out frequent updates to fix bugs.

Yeah I don't know jack about RRs so I was thinking that was the name of the module. The same module in the video is posted in an earlier picture. Looking to see if it's a MiraBox or some such thing.

Looks like one of the devices used is an HD-Link video interface. I can't tell which model.

Because so much Chinese crap is peddled to those eager to upgrade their Tacomas. A faceless salesman named Santiago, no website or other reviews and an old friend don’t instill confidence when my wallet is in the mix.
