Landed Saturday morning, drove the New Glarus got a tour of Brewery, meet up with 2 of my brothers, one with this GTO. Turns out he's having trouble with the vacuum on his headlight. He let me drive it from New Glarus to Madison. Fun ride.

Here we are reflected in the quarter panel.

We then drove up to Green Bay for the Packer Colts game. Got 4 free tickets from one of Avery Brewing's vendors end zone row 1. We got on TV for the wrong reason, Colts took the first kickoff right to our seats. My other brother is in the Cheesehead hat, only the brim of my yellow hat is visible to the right of the cheesehead. He has a 65 Imperial Crown and a 76 Cordoba. He recently sold a 69 Chrysler 300 and is looking to buy another Chrysler or Imperial.

Drove to Chicago after the game and stayed at an airbnb in Ukrainian Village area and attended a packaging Expo at the McCormick Place center. Tried getting lunch at BaderBrau brewery but they were closed so we ended up at Kacey's Tavern for a beer and Marlort and found they don't serve food so walked to The First Draft for lunch.

Had dinner at III Forks, blew the budget on that meal.

Had lunch yesterday at Haymarket Brewery, then flew out with a bottle of Malort in my bag. Bit of a whirlwind visit. Couldn't get a picture of it but saw a restored early 70's Fury cop car on a trailer, perfect for Blues Brothers.

Maybe next time we can meet.

Another driving range find. Just as I noticed the truck and stopped to take a few pictures, he got in and left.

God that gives me a wood. I've always had a serious thing for the old FSJ trucks.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    .
.... ^^^... My first "drivable car" was an older 1951 Chrysler Imperial Limousine (true "Imperial") ... (it was an old car from a funeral home) and it had 3 rows of seats (2nd row popped out of back of front seats).

We called it the "The Tank" and it had a clutch and was an automatic (fluid drive IIRC) P/W, wool carpeting everywhere (even in the trunk) and was great to take on dates in High School.

Sold it for almost scrap metal price and now that same car is worth big bucks. It was never damaged on the sheet metal and had no rust. Only damage was cracked chrome grille after I repainted it a shinny black enamel.

PS ... It had big "hemi-looking" valve covers that I repainted silver with black letters too.

PPS ... Could "pop the clutch" on hot asphalt :burnrubber: (on a hill was best :)) ... and dig a big hole in the road ...
