I have photos to prove this (ill get this uploaded this weekend):
Spotted a Duesenberg, 3 Packard Super 8 convertibles, 1 Packard V12 convertible, 2 Cadillac Hardtop/wagon, 5 Cadillac Convertibles.
All from '41 to estimated '47.

My mouth was dropped when I saw the Duesenberg as typically you might see one in a museum or car show but never driving on a mountain road 100 miles from a main city.

 

Can't mistake that schnoz.

 

I don’t have any photos but I was at this race. My dad took me to so many different motor sports events in Upstate New York. I was 9 years old at this one.

The very first 93 Cobra l came across back when they were new was also a red one. Couldn't imagine having that one all these years and never driving it, but apparently they strictly looked at it as an investment.

 

Is this an investment quality car?

 

They only made 4993 total, it is a very highly sought after Fox Body.

 

Well I guess retrospect can change things. The '71 Camaros were dis'd in their day too. Now I'd love to have one. But I wouldn't pay 90 K for one regardless of any lack of miles.

 

It wasn't just a regular run of the mill Fox either, different engine, suspension, body parts, brakes, wheels, and lots of other odds and ends, was a way to keep interest in the final year of production. A 71 Camaro would be pretty sweet to have today for sure!

 

Stumbled on to a car show today. Not huge and because it’s local to me many of these cars I’ve seen before, some I haven’t. Some quality builds.

I’ll start off with a ‘63 Split Window An NCRS [National Corvette Restorers Society] Top Flight award winner.

 

1957 Nomad was sweet! Built 454.

 

A beautiful 1967 Chevy wagon.

 

And this gasser I see often. Probably the nicest gasser I’ve ever seen.

 

And this beautiful 1932 Ford 2 Door Sedan with a Chrysler 392 HEMI.
