There is a guy near where I grew up with a 1970 Ford Torino Cobra jet, no motor in the car, I know this because I've checked the car out a few times and the fender gap is huge up front, my money is on that his 77 bronco now houses that engine. I've stopped and talked to that guy so many times, the tires are so old and cracked they have started to peel and you can see the white on the sidewalls and the back has lighter paint then the front from the sun bleaching. Every time he swears he wont sell and one day he will get it back on the road, I'm 41, I started knocking on that guys door from the time I was 15, hell, I've pulled up front in a 70 Falcon, and a 79 LTD II. asked him if he would like to go for a drive in hopes he would sell to me knowing I would put that back together and drive it. I know that thing will rot into the ground, heck even talked to the guys kids a few times who have asked him to sell it.

though sometimes you get lucky, that 70 Falcon above, was one of those cars, sat on the side of a fence in a field across the road from my friend, one day saw the old guy on his porch, asked if it be okay for me to take some pictures and if I could look at it. again being a younger ford guy. guys said sure i could and he could get the keys for me, took some pics shot the BS with him, i asked he was planning to fix it. he said yes and his wife said there was no way he ever would. he said its yours as long as you can get it free from that field and not cut his fence. pulled it that afternoon had it running from a boat tank the next weekend.

Loved the looks of the Fiero, and the later models actually had enough power to make them fun, but there simply wasn't enough leg room for me!

I fit the Fiero better than a Camaro.

I remember working at a pool company and a guy with a Fiero bought a big 100 pound drum of chlorine and asked me to load it in his car, that was fun.
