1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer with a 383 stroker! I know the guy who owns it (or owned it) too. I'm friends with him on Facebook and I just posted these same pics there too. He sold it a while ago, but after seeing my pictures, he says he should buy it back!

I love these old vans! If I found one with a 454 big block, a G80 locker, and rear A/C, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

I followed the owner into the parking lot of a bank, got permission to take pictures, and got detailed specs on the van from him. This one has the bulletproof but moderately underpowered 350cid V8, and because it has the 15-passenger seating, it DOES NOT have rear A/C. It does have air-conditioning, but in the front/dash only. Ordering that extra 3-person bench seat meant there was no room for the rear A/C, which kind of contradicts itself in a vehicle this big! Getting the 146" wheelbase model with 12-passenger seating meant you could get rear A/C if desired. The shorter wheelbase 125" models were all available with rear A/C!

By the way, Beauville is the top trim. Both of these vans were fully loaded with A/C (front only though ), cruise, tilt, power windows, power locks, and AM/FM cassette. They will literally last a lifetime!

 

Quite possibly the HOLY GRAIL of later model Chevrolet G20 conversion vans!

This is basically the tour bus for an awesome band out of New Jersey called Mother. They performed at Puck on January 21st, 2017.

This is a 1993 Chevrolet G20 converted by Tiara. Not only is it in absolutely incredible condition, it has the RARE 6.2L Detroit Diesel V8 engine! It had 197K miles at the time the pictures were taken and is still going strong! The original owner ordered it as a cargo van with the "Upfitter Package," which basically means it's a fully loaded panel van with all he necessary rough-ins for stuff like TVs and power-folding couch-seats. One of the guitar players bought it from the original owner dirt cheap and plans on adding a ground-pounding sound system, and a flat-panel HDTV in the back.

This van is LOADED with all the most desirable options on top of the diesel engine. It has A/C (front and rear; converted from R-12 to R134a and ICE COLD), cruise, tilt, power windows, power locks, and AM/FM cassette (soon to be replaced). It also has the heavy-duty "Trailering Special" towing package! The reason the guitar player bought it is because they need to tow a trailer with their equipment in it, and the 5.4L V8 in the Ford E-series this van replaced BLEW UP while towing the aforementioned trailer to a gig.

1995 GMC Yukon GT with factory 5-speed manual transmission! I don't really need to say more but I will anyway!

In terms of being "loaded," this was a special order and the original owner selected pretty much every option but the engine block heater and G80 locking rear. I was browsing the swap meet at the 2016 Raceway Park Spring Meet and I saw this beauty parked next to a vendor's stand where it's owner was selling used wheels and tire.

Anybody who knows GMT-400s knows that 2-door 1995-1999 Tahoes are fairly rare, especially in decent condition. GMT-400 fans also know that 2-door Yukons of any trim level are EVEN RARER than 2-door Tahoes, and the "Yukon GT" trim is probably the rarest. A Yukon GT with a factory 5-speed handshaker is pretty unheard of!

As I was approaching this truck, I could see that it didn't have a column shifter for an automatic transmission. The owner saw me coming and I asked if it was a stick shift. He's like "Yup! You're losing your shit now, aren't you?"

Of course he knew a true GM truck fanatic when he saw one and let me take pictures:

 

I'll have to ask my dad for pics of our old '82 C20 with the 6.2L diesel. He customized it himself. Thing was a beast. Went well over 300K before he traded it in on his 2007 GMC Sierra 2500...also diesel.

Never snuck up on anyone, though. The dog knew dad was home from 5 blocks away.

A couple of late 1980s Crown Coach school buses, photographed in Santa Monica (July 27th, 2016). These are quite possibly some of the most badass school buses ever built. Back in the early 1950s, these original Crown Coaches were ahead of their time:
