    I have a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe 2.3L 5 speed. I always wanted one when I was growing up. I bought this car 3 years ago. It is mostly stock with a few exceptions and everything works. These cars were way ahead of their time. It has 4wheel ABS and computer adjusted suspension. The 1987 Turbo Coupe was Motor Trends Car of the Year. These Thunderbirds were the fastest to date with a top speed of 143 mph....stock.

    My buddys mom had one in high school, pretty fast and fun car.
    Another guy I knew bought a SC tbird when they came out, pretty fast also.

    No battle here! I love vehicles from all corners of the world. My next build will be LS1 (hopefully turbo) powered, I just haven't settled on what shell to put it in. Need to get done with phase 1 of the Tacoma first. I will only admit a bias to custom vs OEM/resto. Also I don't like full stance with the crazy camber - a good stance is crucial to getting a vehicles "look" no matter what it is, using 5% of your tires contact patch and stretching tires past the point of dangerous isn't.

    Also, I freakin love Volksrods
