I think the bare aluminum on the wheels would look good color matched but still not bad looking setup.

 

This is a repost of some pics taken by an acquaintance of mine who lives in Hong Kong. The gray car (4 pics) is a Toyota Century. The black car (1 pics) is also a Toyota Century. I have a Japanese market brochure (circa 2003) for the Toyota Century that my friend sent me (I gave the brochure it's own thread). This is Toyota's only production vehicle with a 12-cylinder engine!

Car watching in hong kong has made be hate the endless line of "cross overs" that are everywhere around here. I doubt I will see a RR and a bentley parked together with a ferrari FF and a 70s vespa outside a shop here in KS very soon.

I tried to snap that picture but when I asked the nice man with the FF, he said he was game, but his friend with the RR, asked that I not. Had to respect that. They let me look over the cars a bit as we all had some ice cream. The asked about my truck ( as an american....), and they game the thumbs up to the toyota.

 

Hong Kong has more Rolls-Royce and Bentley buyers per capita than any other country!

 

Everyone has a tesla, and Lantau Island has so many r33 and r32 gtrs. Lots of cool jdm stuff around.

I will miss these too.....

 

I followed a pristine '77 Datsun 210 for about a mile this morning. Tried to get a pic of it but he turned into a gated community and left me hanging. It made me nostalgic for the car I learned to drive on, a '77 Corolla.

 

Drove the '69 to work today. First time in a couple of weeks; it's been rainy and crappy here. And of course now it's sunny, on a Saturday that I have to work, lol.

 

Reminds me of how I learned to drive on a 78 corolla. My dad said this is the clutch, thats the brake and theres the gas. I'll meet you at the corral!
