You couldn't get a 71 R/T Convertible but you could get this.

I managed to make it through this whole thread, I have countless hours of Barrett Jackson marathons under my belt so I was prepared.
I was impressed by how many 61-62 Chevy Bubble tops I saw. Can anyone point out what makes this Bubble top unique ?

From every angle this Olds looks like it weighs 2 tons.

It has Impala badges, but appears to be a Bel Aire Sport Coupe?

    Best guess I've got.

Yes indeed... Some guys add the extra tail light and the Impala moldings to create an Impala / Bel Air hybrid.
Although Chevy purest probably hate it, I think it really is the best of both.... Well done grasshopper

Thinking about it, I agree it's the best of both. I'm basically the opposite of a purist and prefer to customize any vehicle, no matter what. I miss the tails because I'm so used to seeing both 2 and 3 on bubble tops, I never paid much attention to it. I kinda figured it was some weird mid-generation or random trim thing.

IIRC ... Single taillight was Biscayne = (my grandfather had a 283 cu, 170 hp) ...... Double taillight was BelAir .... Triple taillight was the Impala.

For Petite LeMans weekend, my work hosted Oktoberfest and a client was kind enough to let us place his Porsche Indy car on the showroom. My daughter, Senna, was able to get some seat time. Got to start her early.
