My late uncle's lifelong love. Original 1932 Ford 5 window coupe. Peterbilt headlights. 350 V8 with a blower and he drove it everywhere. Always said he counted gallons per mile, not miles per gallon, and that when he used to drag race it at the track here he would always crack the A pillars from the torque.

Found it in a field back in the 50s, burnt to hell from a fire and full of bullet holes. Quite a famous car in Solano County in the 60s and 70s, he affectionately called it "Blue Boy," and had another car called "The Pink Lady" for my aunt.

    In its namesake paint job.

    RIP.

Beautiful. I love that body style, but I don't miss all that hood.

This was what my Toronado looked like (folks have the photo album with my original pics).

For obtainable cars I'd go for a Volvo 242. I've always had a soft spot for Volvos for some reason. I love my 740 turbo but sadly the floor pans are no longer there and I may have to pull the drivetrain and scrap it.

For unrealistic I really want an Ariel Atom v8.

Oh no doubt. Needs a lot of metal work, but the motor work is nice

Beautiful! She's a keeper. Both, that is!

I told my girlfriend she can drive mine but I haven't had the courage to let her yet. She's all of 5'2" and a buck ten. Don't know the last time she drove a stick (other than last night, early this morning then again late morning :bananadance::yes:). But that's not the same.

I love the Volvo's too. Had a 2006 S40 with the factory sport package - 5 cylinder turbo, 6 speed, AWD, sport suspension and strut braces, body kit - never saw another one like it. My wife got rear-ended by a texting teenager in it last year and pushed into the car in front of her. Totaled the S40, and the kid and other driver left in ambulances. My wife and 75 year old mom weren't even sore the next day, so getting her another Volvo was never a question. Went with a 2015.5 S60 R-Design with a factory installed Polestar tune - because safety! 0-60 in about 4.8 seconds, and a tank in the snow. most comfortable car I've ever owned.
