Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
...^^^... I actually bought 2 of these .... weird deal.

SET aka Jim Moran bought a bunch of these and could not sell them in the south.

He (SET) discounted them to the max with Toyota discounts ... AND ... he also gave away a personal SET check for $3,000.00 for each unit bought.

I bought 2 ... trucked them to my buddy in White River Junction, VT and sold them for a nice profit.

IIRC ...it had a little button on the dash for the AWD.

PS ... This was about the same model that Toyota was selling as the first Lexus too.

Toyota took a Camry, deleted a door gasket and a few small things and called it a Camry ... and kept those things and called it a Lexus.

The original Lexus was really a Camry for the most part. That changed as time went by though.
Lexus had an unusual start too ... about the same time.

So far the cars I’ve posted have been just like the ones my dad has when I was a kid (colors vary) but the old memories are getting fuzzy. So far I’m batting a thousand (I think) He also had this one.

My Neighbor had a barn find a few years ago that had a similar bodystyle, it was a 58 or 59 Dodge Challenger with only 20,000 miles. I didn't even know that Dodge used the Challenger name prior to 1970.

Oh yes, that name as well as “Hemi” had been around. We had a 1954 Packard with factory AC, power windows, and 4,000 original miles (all paperwork from the original sale) from the original owner and my crazy dad sold it for a steal.
