Not a super car or a classic car but it was my favorite I've owned. Bought it at 19 as my midlife crisis car. Sold it at 24 to use as my down payment on my first house. Amazing engine with a 9100rpm rev limit. Didnt even make power until vtec kicked in at 5500.0309141522a.jpg

...^^^... I am looking now for a cherry 2000 as a second fun car .... very hard to find and expensive.

I will probably have to settle for a Miata.

People want 15k still for unmolested AP1s with low mileage

...^^^... It would be a sunny Sunday driver and extra car ... want stock and hopefully red.

The 2000's are hard to find and expensive .... I saw a low mileage 2000 go on Barrett-Jackson in mid 30k's IIRC.

Around here ... a nice 2000 with low miles is around 25K.

Only honda that comes close to build quality of the s2k is the NSX. I've worked on a few at my shop and even the early 90s NSXs are the best built cars I have ever touched. Not the fastest cars (like the s2000) but you can feel when driving them that you are in something special.

You don't need low miles. It's a Honda. Do yourself a favor and find one and buy it. You will never find a sweeter shifting car. And there will always be a Miata to buy later.

Had this 1932 Duesenberg in my driveway for about an hour a few years ago. My friend picked it up for a friend of his that lived in Detroit. He'd been trying to buy it for years, and the owner finally caved at 2 million dollars.

From what I've seen, that's actually a bargain for a Duesy.

Well here is my pride and joy before someone decided they wanted it more than I did. It was all original when I bought it in early 2001 down to the plugs and wires. I drove it all through my military career and slowly made it to what you see. I killed the factory 305 and put a crate 350 in the factory POS 200R4 got replaced by a built 700R4.

    That's a real Duesy!

(Historical footnote: the word "doozy" came from "Duesy" which came from Duesenberg, which were the finest automobiles in the world in their day.)

I think of old AVON cologne bottles when I see these kinds of cars. My dad had a few growing up. Smelled terrible.
