Damn Thats one long ass Lincoln. Would make the perfect "Hot Rod Lincoln" I bet it's got the 460 in it.

 

If you lowered the front a little it could be used as a snowplow

 

Long ago I had a 1972 Mercury Montego GT. It was not much shorter than the gold Lincoln shown on page 710.
It was metallic blue with white vinyl interior, Bucket seats, Floor shift C6 automatic, 400 Modified ( 351 windsor block
w/ 400 heads ). Was a factory issue engine at the time. Nice big smooth riding car. Cruise at 100 mph and it was like you were
standing still. The car ran good, But suffered from an unusual problem of water filling up the trunk. I could run a water
hose around all the rubber seal in the trunk lid, back window, All over and never get a drop of water. But when it rained
it would fill the trunk up with at least 2 inches of water. I never found where it was coming in before I traded it.

 

Wasn’t it determined to be a taillight issue?

 

I did not keep it long enough after the issue started to find out. I was working construction at the time
and about a year later A concrete finisher on the crew told us he just bought another car. And guess what
car he bought? Yep my old Montego. And he said it still ran good but he could not keep an alternator on it.
So it had some electrical gremlins as a result of the water. As I'm sure rust.

here are some pics of my custom built chopper ( big mini bike all built by hand)

1 st pic is the original setup in early 2003
2 nd pic is a mini chopper I built for my son. I used parts from another bike to make it work.
110 cc 4 stroke w/ 4 speed manual transmission.
3 rd pic is the later setup on the custom chopper around 2006. I used it for riding in the Apopka Christmas parade
that year. I still have the frame of the bike in my shed out back. All the running gear was taken off and sold
to help purchase a jet ski. ( more family fun rather than personal )

 

Dream car, it’s a dream cus I’ll never buy it, it’s way too unreliable, but man the sounds this car makes, the shape of the car is timeless
