And here’s his other hobby. His 55 Chevy race car. It ran low 8 second quarter mile ETA’s. This was a couple of years ago. He blew that motor up and has since built a new one, supposedly better. Still has to test it though. Hopefully we'll get out before the season is over. This is at Bandimere Speedway just testing it.

 Wonder where Smoky Mountain gets their models? It's getting NOT PC to do such things anymore but, at 61, I'm OK with it . . . just sayin!

Before I found my 67 they had a couple of cars I was interested in. They are pretty proud of them. Like this "not a real" SS Impala for $80K. Damn nice, um, car though.

That is a nice ..clear throat...ride. I’m having a hard time looking away. It’s that light Chevy marina blue that does it.

Yeah, $40K and I actually had an extra $40K, I'm all over this 67 Impala. My first car when I was a pup was a 67 Impala, though it was a hardtop.

I bought my 87 442 [last year they made 'em] new in late 86 for $15,200 but there was a trade involved so not sure what the actual cash value was? Heartened that Mecum just sold one for $31,700. Nice to see gbodies besides just Turbo Regals getting some love.

I tripped over my 67 442 priced at $30K, then $25K, guy had to move it, and I got it for $20K. Could have bought it new for $3750. It is an actual 442 but has a 425 in it now instead of the original 400. Arguably a better motor but, if I can find a date code reasonable 400 block [getting REALLY hard to even find a 400 period] I might replace it with what belongs in it . . . someday. Right now, it just needs a 1/2 dozen leaks fixed and me driving it!!!!

Gorgeous craftsmanship Foose does. It’s hard to get on board with such a classic being altered though.

I’m not 100% sure what it’s getting. I’m just working on it for a customer. I’ll post my toy.

The back of the truck cab was the first thing I noticed looking at it.

First thing I saw from a distance was the infamous 1957 rear quarter panels and it playing the part of an El Camino. Huh!? They didn’t make El Camino's in 1957. Off I went to investigate. ;)
