    Love the first gen 1969 T/A and then the first year of the second gen 1970 which this one is. They only came in two color choices in 1970. Blue with a white stripe or white with a blue stripe. Both colors are sweet. When I had my 1969 Ram Air IV GTO I knew a guy who had a white 1970 T/A like this with a Ram Air IV. Super rare and desirable car today and especially with that motor. I had a chance to buy that car in the early 1980’s for 5K. but couldn’t come up with the cash. It’s a $130K. car in today’s market. GRRRR...

    Many a good times spent in one of those. My best friend had a 1972 Formula Firebird 455 4-Speed. My GTO smoked it but that Formula sure was fun lighting up the tires at every stop light. Gobs of lower end torque but fell flat on the high end.
