car seat latches

For you '16 owners, how many car seat latches are in the back? Is it just on the driver and passenger sides that have them or are there latches in the middle?

 

It may depend on if you have a AC or DC

 

Sorry, how many many latches on the DC's?

 

Mine has 3. But they easily drop below the seat whenever you lift them up.

 

I assume OP is talking about LATCH hardpoints. There are only two pair, none provided for the center seat, just a regular belt there.

 

forty2, would you happen to know if previous year's had latches in the middle seat? I coulda sworn there were 3 pairs in '14 I looked at a while back but don't remember.

 

I've never been in a 2nd gen double cab, just ACs and regular cabs. Just went and double checked my truck though; there is in fact only the lower anchor points for the outside seats. However, there is an upper center anchor for all three positions.

 

No, the previous gen didn't have 3 sets of rear latches. Matter of fact, not many cars do. Only the RDX/MDX come to mind. Even our Pilot doesn't have it (and it's based on the MDX platform)

 

What year pilot. We have a 2013 and it has 3 sets of latch points. As for OP, yeah only 2 in rear of DC. But you can still use the seat belt, just take a while to put in 3 seats, if you can fit them.

 

My Sierra had 3 latch points. I'll check the tacoma in the am

 

mine has 3. I run a car seat in the middle.

 

I have a 2nd Gen 2015. There are two Latch points in both outboard rear seats in the DC models.

Since the 2016 is basically a 2nd Gen with a new engine and body panels I'm pretty sure it'll be the same.
