Car Show May 8th-Manteca

East Union High School is having it's 10th annual car show on May 8th.
If you guys and gals would like to get in on it like a small meet, that would be cool. I live only a mile away. A small show and if we have 10 "club" trucks, we have our own category. "Nor-Cal Yotas" for the category. You can google East Union Car Show and the pdf will come up. Below is a copy you can also cut and paste. Sooner the better so they can get awards for our category.

ENTRY: Entry applications to display in the East
Union JROTC Car Show are now being accepted.
To enter your automobile, complete the entry form,
sign the Release of Liability, and forward these
materials with the required entry fee of $20.00.
Day of event $25.00. Make checks payable to:
East Union JROTC Car & Bike Show

*Awards: 3 plaques will be given in each category.
Also a “Best Paint,” - “Best of Show and Best
Mural ,” award will also be given for motorcycle &
vehicle. * Including a silent Auction.
Location and Time Schedule: East Union (in
Manteca, I-5 to Lathrop, right on Union).
Placement of cars on field: 8:00 – 10:30am—NO
EXCEPTIONS. Judging will begin at 10:30am.
Exhibitors must be available for judging, Cars must
remain in position until final presentation. Awards
will be notified at approx. 2:30 pm.
Rules: The committee reserves the right to reject
any automobile. Section size will be limited. The
committee reserves the right to adjust classes. Also
any Car Club that can guarantee 10 cars or more
can get their own category.

Release of Liability
The undersigned, desiring to enter the East Union Car
Show, does hereby tender his/her application in
consideration of acceptance by the above sponsorship
group of the application. The undersigned does hereby
agree:
Release East Union High School and East Union JROTC
and all sponsoring groups and its members from any and
all liability arising out of said event.
Release all other contestants and officials from any and
all liability arising out of said event.
Warrant that the undersigned will personally read the
rules and regulations under which said event will be
conducted, and will abide by said rules and regulations.

So what one do you like? I thought about getting everybod there for a mini meet but we probably would not have done well as a group participation with 11...yes 11 PT Cruisers that were there and very custom but I don't like em'

Ya man...that will be 3...trying to get Kevin in on it too.
Hopefully we can get a wide range of Tacos out there.
The cost isn't bad, get to hang out and look at cars all day.

 

There's another one on the same day on yosemite... Fine Lines 3rd annual car truck and bike show...

 

We still have a month to go. We have about 4-5 committed to the show.
I would like to get 10 pre registered so we can have our own category.
ANY Tacomas are welcome to come on down.
