car sputters shifting gears

So this just started happening when i drive and accelerate at a slow or fast pace my car will sputter or vibrate when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear i thought it was sometimes but now its constant any suggestions? Broken transmission mounts maybe or engine mounts?

 

First I would check the transmission fluid level.

Not sure what you mean by "sputters". If the engine sputters that usually means an engine issue. A vibration would be something entirely different.

 

Auto or manual transmission?

When were the spark plugs last changed?

 

What kind of car? You should have bought a Tacoma.

 

Its a 2006 tacoma and not sure when spark plugs were last changed and its more of a vibration then sputter the car shakes while shifting into 4th and into overdrive now and i will check trans level right now
