    yeah. i have done some winter camping, and it sucked it was really cold out. take down time is fast on them, thats not the only reason i’m not doing one! it wont be quite like a teardrop, it wont have full kitchen/ bed or anything like that. i guess best way to say it it’s going to be a somewhat small offroad utility trailer, it will be pretty open unless i’m taking it camping. but it will also be used for anything i need it for. like if my brother moves agin, could use it instead of renting a U-haul agin.

    i do plain on putting some fold down tables on the walls and doors, will have one or two small RV style windows.

    got my sleeping platform built for those extended weekend hunts/camping trips. still enough room on the side to fit the ice chests and my 25mm ammo cans full of camping gear. the deek bags will just sit on top of it. the best part is that this was made out of all free wood that i got from the construction section of our local dump!!

    I'm planning on adding a 12v electric blanket to my RTT. I have read it works great on keep you cozy but not overly hot. You can pick up most blankets for 20 bucks. Just lay it on top of the mattress and call it a day :cool:

    Ill be picking one up for my RTT soon

    Whats a good RTT thats relatively small and not super expensive? I dont need anything bad ass and I dont need anything huge. Just something small and affordable(kind of affordable anyway). I got my rack almost all built up so I am ready for the next step.

    Can't go wrong with a CVT. get the Mt Bachelor. What Mike is running and basically me too. Great tent for two people and fast easy to setup

    They are not inexpensive Mike. I got mine in a group buy from CVT. Paid $700. I think retail on mine is ~$1000 and its the smallest one. :eek:
