I got 3" lift on my 2018 Tacoma. Are there any issues taking it through an automatic car wash?

Yes. I checked the treads and didn't see anything for automatic car washes and lifts.

Poke around in the detailing forum. Lots of great info in there about how to take care of your truck.

I'm not lifted, but I go through automatic car washes all the time.... I have a cap and a roof rack..... no issues. I even use the ones with the brushes as touchless ones don't get all the bugs and bird crap off.

No, still probably not he height of a full size and they fit with lots of room for clearance

I did have my roof seal blow off using the wash the other day. Was driving down the road and it was flapping in the wind. Pulled over and pressed it down and it’s been ok since. The high powered blowers blew it off and the clips and tape don’t hold. Been ok since but haven’t been back to the same wash.

Lawfarin is it 3M tape? I had the same issue with my 2015 Tacoma. I had WeatherTech visors and used 3M tape and never had the problem again.

I would imagine it’s 3m but yes it’s only small slits of 3m tape and a few clips I believe if I remember correctly. Wasn’t much holding it on

See that bar that says "clearance"? If your truck is shorter than what's written on that bar, then you're ok.

If you pull in and your truck roof don't touch that bar, (PVC pipe) you are O.K. We have those on a car wash I use once in awhile.
