Im about to start my fxr retrofit in a few days and thinking of wrapping the bezel and or bowl in 3m carbon fiber wrap. Has anyone done this mod? How hard is it? Reflector bowl shouldnt be too hard but the bezel has some crazy angles, tight spots to get to.

The bowl wouldnt be hard but that bezel would take some patience and heat gun.

it would probably be easier to find someone to hydro-dip it for you

I would hyrdro dip as the lines and angles are going to be rough to get it just right. But LOVE this idea.

I'd leave the bowl chrome and dip the bezel and shroud. Just my $0.02. Can't wait to see this regardless of what you do

if you dip it make sure its perfectly smooth so the pattern will come out right
