I think if you did a couple different style of flares (bushwacker style with and w/o exposed bolts). Also I think the scoop bill would sell really well. Another item down the road might be A-pillars for tweeters and your possible dash mount boost guage you're designing :notsure:

light pod for the roof. I’d be in. But I’d paint it... so it’s kinda overkill when you could just glass it all the same. But meso quality fiber lightpod would be gnar.

Also, never really bin dun before. Rally cars got em on hoods, but as far as trucks go, it’s always some hokey bar. I imagine a seamlessly integrated cluster of lights. Like spider eyes.

Looks like they don't know what they are doing...

Shows a photoshopped pic of a 3rd Gen and the listing is for a "12-15 Toyota Tacoma Viper Look Carbon Fiber Creations Body Kit- Hood!!!"

    upload_2018-10-29_1-38-37.jpg

I wouldn't send over a grand to someone who doesn't even include a photo of the correct generation truck to match their description...

I'd be very interested in a set. The Bushwackers although reputable are still expensive for my taste for four pieces of plastic. They have been on my to do list for a while. Just not sure how if they were made of carbon fiber that they could be cheaper...
I would really like a set that could help those accommodate a larger tire, more overhang over wider stanced trucks and perhaps make it so that the rear fender part does not required to be secured so that we have more clearance when turning. As of right now I can barely fit my finger in between my 285's and the rear inner fender. I have cmc done but the fender is the biggest area of concern for me now.
I like the style of the exposed bolts but maybe not so much the shiny metal or chrome. Would definitely paint black.

I completely agree with this. Just wondering since they are carbon fiber and won't be flexible, they would have to be a perfect fit? The bushwhackers can flex a bit to firm to the fender. But would buy these.

I would be in for a set if:
    1. I can bolt them into my quarterpanels, yes i know i will have to drill my truck
    2. if they can be open underneath to allow for optimal clearane
    3. can hide quarter panels that i trim when i jump do 35s

    I like this

Also would be happy to see interior pieces and a tastefully done hood. I have no need for a non functioning hood scoop.

Bro, we're talking sub-$500 for carbon fender Flairs, if they can be made to install on an sr5 without flairs... yes please.

If they were a replica of the OEMs and worked on my SR, I'd be down for a set.

I may be interested in the carbon fiber flares.

Also, instead of bushwacker, consider RDJ flares. He seems to accept offers of $270 on ebay. You could also ask to throw in the rhino coat on the smooth version. I ordered the aggressive texture but returned it because it was a bit too shiny for me and you can't paint that texture. Luckily he offers free returns. It all seemed to be good quality and all bolts are stainless steel, but he doesn't offer black bolts unfortunately.

I was going to exchange them for the smooth with free Rhino coating, but I'm holding off to decide if I want flares or not. Carbon might sway me...

A hood may not be a terrible idea, the factory hood seems to weigh a ton.
