    Hello, my 1998 excab prerunner was a brothers truck before i got my hands on her. a few years ago he was rear ended and the body shop that did his tailgate took the old carbon fiber toyota emblem off of it and said they couldn't get a new one. i would like to find one but am unsure if theres a good place to find oem or if this guy is the right one:

    Yeah they only came on 1998 PreRunners and nothing else. Your friend @Empty_Lord bought the last ones in the entire country. One sold on eBay for a few HUNDRED dollars. That’s how rare they are.

    At least those came on trucks for the entire generation, these only came on one specific trim of a single year haha

    i believe the toyota badge is still widly available. the tacoma, prerunner, and motorsports badge are gone. i'll check tomorrow on the TOYOTA badge

    would be awesome to have someone recreate these badges. but the chances of that are slim to none

    its going on the truck. it aint not going on. im pretty sure the toyota badge is still like 40+ out in the warehouses. i might order 2 just to see if someone can recreate the carbon effect on chrome emblems

    this one wont leave me. lol too hard to replace.. like i said, if i can get 2 toyota badges one i'll use to recreate i hope... id love some carbon SR5 badges to go with the other ones..
    and the best part is the TRD supercharger badge actually goes with the motorsports badges..

    Also got some bad news for you. These are made of Silicone, and once you get them off there really isn't a good way of getting them back on. From the factory, Toyota puts a clear film over the letters to maintain the spacing. It'll never look the same again.

    I just recommend getting the silver emblems, and painting them.
