    that looks cool how hard is it to apply? it sound's pretty easy but you know how that goes it sounds easy and is a pain in the but.

    Looks easy but it's not. Lots of tight curves. Watched my installer do a few pieces and it definitely is toughto get good results. Heat gun is a must.

    looks cool as hell, but real carbon fiber parts do not have texture.
    the resin creates a smooth surface. (removes geek hat)

    i am still going to see if i can get some, though.
    looks like it is expensive

    ^ Ah, you're right Sock. I have a real CF piece in my engine bay and it's smooth. This 3M stuff does look great though, especially when light hits it. I think the price comes out to $7 sq ft. Check out the links I supplied.

    my facebook vinyl install: i have done plenty of vinyl install i have just been bad at posting pick after :D

    but i can do all the vinyl if people are interested im currently ordering carbon from the manafacture of the stuff in canada so i get a 48inch by 60 inch at whole sale. if you guys want the material or would like me to install let me know if i can help

    3m's Di-Noc material is pretty sweet. I ordered a 5'x4' sheet. I used it on the bumper valence and a light switch cover in the garage. Don't think I have a pic but when my truck arrives in Germany maybe I will snap one. Unfortunately I left the material back stateside so I won't have access to it for sometime.
