    Do you mean a bar that extends the width of the truck bed to hold cargo in place? If so, I wouldn't think it would be an issue. You do need to be careful cranking the bar down because the Tacoma beds are a plastic composite material, and if you crank the bar down too much, you could put a hole in the bed.

    Leveled with Bilstein 5100 shocks, Kumho AT52 265/75 tires, Redline hood struts, R4T tailgate lock, Matt Gecko LED strips in bed and under hood, WeatherTech hood guard, OEM bed mat, Husky floor mats, Carhart seat covers, Grille replacement with Toyota letters, Sony AX6000 replacement head unit, OTT lite/mild tune, and an occasional splash of fuel additive.
    No problem, I have one. Keeps cargo where it should be. Bought mine on Amazon, universal fit. I crank mine down pretty tight. No bed damage whatsoever.

    how hard are you cranking down on it? are you using a breaker bar?

    i can't even ratchet mine into place enough for it to stay in one position all the time
