    I have no clue.
So I am thinking I am going to pick up a cargo basket for camping and what not, and general crap hauling. I like the look of the facotry toyota roof rack, and have looked at the Yakima. I really think it is kind of a toss up between those two. the Yakima is $25 more, and holds 25 more lbs. Here is my quandry, does anyone make a bed rack system, that uses the Toyota bed rails to mount a basket over the bed instead of on the roof? I would love to be able to move the basket to the roof, or over the bed. I think that would be the emitomy of versatility for a cargo basket.

Also any particular reasons you suggest, factory rack, Yakima, or Thule?

I think I have seen baskets that fit on the OEM roof rack but I think they were pretty pricey.

Now between the Yakima and OEM, I used to have the Yakima and it worked great! The fairing would hit the roof every now and then from strong winds but other then that it was solid! I went with the OEM cause I liked the fact that you could stow away the crossbars when not in use for better airflow, and it was quieter then the Yakima. I also have a bed rail system with Thule ski and snowboard attachments. I went that route cause I hated using my step bars and reaching up high on the roof to get my snowboard and skis. So I pretty much dont even use the OEM rack anymore to be honest.

    I have no clue.

WWFF, Tell me about your rail system for your bed that looks perfect!

ATO, I love the idea, but ideally I would like to have the same type of bars on both the roof and the bed.

The bed rack system is made by Inno. Just google it and you will find information on it. The crossbars it comes with is the same size and style and the Thule crossbars.

i got a question.. plan on ordering some on http://www.autoanything.com/truck-racks/65A4841A0A0.aspx but im confused when it says "Choose from 2 styles: RT101 for standard pickups and RT102 for pickups with c-channel track systems" what the hell is a c-channel track system? im assuming its the little track sliddy thing in the bed but id like to make sure before i order the wrong thing.. and im notorious for that! thanks!
